Ask Pal for a script, a hook, or a rewrite. Press GO. Pal.text is already in TapeDoc.in, so writeDoc can land on the page, and the same reply hits Speak.copy. Talk uses the Mic. This is a writing desk, not a beat desk.
What's on the floor
GO into Pal.gate, Mic into Pal.audio, Pal.text into TapeDoc and Speak. TapeDoc has no ai jack — the text cable is how Pal becomes a neighbor and unlocks writeDoc. Import always creates a new board.
Where to go next
Patch TapeDoc.text into Marquee to scroll a line. Add a StickyPad for notes Pal should not overwrite. Duplicate Pal to Speak onto another board when you only want the voice.

- No. Use cases always create a new board.
- Why isn't Pal.ai in the Doc?
- TapeDoc has text in, not ai in. The text cable is the honest jack. Pal can still write the page because they are neighbors.
- Does Speak cost an AI action?
- Yes. Voice render uses the workspace quota, same as Pal's reply.
