Use Case

See the note. Hear the click. Record the take.

Keys into Tuner and Deck, metronome on the floor for the click. Practice, then arm a track. Always a new board.

Use Case product shot: See the note. Hear the click. Record the take.

What you can do today

Play Keys. The Tuner already reads the note. The same audio is in the Deck — arm a track and punch Rec when the take is ready. Start the metronome when you want a click; it is not cabled so it will not record unless you patch it.

What's on the floor

Keys.audio into Tuner.audio and Deck.audio. Metronome sits unwired so you can hear the click without printing it on the tape. Import always creates a new board.

Where to go next

Metronome.audio → Deck.audio if you do want the click on the take. Keys into Tuner is the pair without the Deck.

Questions

Will this replace my Home desk?
No. Use cases always create a new board.
Why isn't the metro patched?
So the click stays in the room. Patch it into the Deck when you want it on the tape.
Can I use a Mic instead?
Import Mic into Recorder for a vocal take. This board is for Keys.
