Tilt the stick. Twelve keys play chords.
MiniSynth is a HiChord-style pocket synth. Joystick picks the quality. Twelve keys play scale degrees as chords. Pal.ai sets key, scale, and sound. Audio out is the chord.

What it is
A pocket chord synth. The joystick picks quality — maj, min, 7, maj7, min7, dim, sus, add9. Twelve keys play scale degrees as chords or single notes. Sounds: organ, pluck, pad, brass, bell, square, saw. AI in lets Pal setChord. Sample in (Pack) plays a Sampler take on the keys. Pitch, gate, and vol in let another device play it. Audio out is the tone. Pitch and gate out follow the held chord. Text out (Chord) is the name.
How to use it
Drop Chord. Tilt the stick, then play a key. Patch audio into Deck or Scope. Pal.ai → MiniSynth.ai if you want Pal to pick the key and sound. Sample in from the Sampler layers a take. This is not Keys — Keys is single notes with a tape wave. This one is chords.
What to patch next
MiniSynth.audio → Deck.audio is the jam. Pal.ai → MiniSynth.ai sets the voicing. MiniSynth.text → Marquee crawls the chord name. Sit Keys beside it if you want single notes over the pad.

Questions
- Is this the same as Keys?
- No. Keys is a tape keyboard for single notes. MiniSynth plays chords from a stick and a scale.
- Can Pal perform a song on it?
- Pal sets key, scale, quality, and sound. It does not play a part. You play, or a gate/pitch cable does.
- What does Pack in do?
- A Sampler pack on MiniSynth.sample plays those hits from the twelve keys.
