Router picks A or B. The lever does it by hand. Sel is a gate that grabs B when high. Flip the face between CV and GATE — the jacks follow.

What it is

A two-way picker, not a mix. A and B are the sources. Out is whichever one is selected. Sel is always a gate — high picks B, low (or no cable) leaves the lever in charge. Default kind is CV: A, B, and Out are CV. Flip the face to GATE and those three jacks become gates. Wider spans show the CV / GATE keys. A patched Sel disables the lever.

How to use it

Patch two Knobs into Router.a and Router.b, or two gates if you flipped to GATE. Throw the lever, or patch a Button or Latch.q into Router.sel so a pulse grabs B. Out goes wherever that kind belongs — a CV amount, another Router, a synth, or a gate in.

What to patch next

Latch.q → Router.sel is a flip-flop that remembers which source is live. Compare.above → Router.sel crosses over when a CV clears the line. Two Knobs into A and B, Out into Hold.cv, if you want to freeze whichever side you picked.

Questions

Does it blend A and B?
No. One or the other. The lever is a switch, not a crossfade.
Why won't a gate cable land on A?
The face is still on CV. Press GATE. A, B, and Out change kind. Sel stays a gate either way.
Why is the lever dead?
Sel is patched. Unpatch it to throw the lever by hand.
