Component Guide
A strip of inserts. Effect is the one-slot twin.
Rack holds four to eight inserts from the studio DSP catalog. Patch audio through it into Deck. Effect is the same plugins in one slot.

What it is
A 4–8 insert rack over the full st-dsp catalog. Audio in, audio out. No mix CV — each insert has its own params. This is the chain version of Effect. Correct is still the pitch box; do not use a Rack when you meant tune.
How to use it
Drop Rack. Add inserts. Patch Keys, Mic, or BeatPad into Rack.audio, then Rack.audio into Deck. Swap an insert instead of stacking three Effect widgets. Bypass an insert on the strip.
What to patch next
Keys.audio → Rack.audio → Deck.audio is a tracked chain. Mic through Correct first if the line needs pitch, then into the Rack. Effect if you only want one slot.

Questions
- How is this different from Effect?
- Same catalog. Rack is several inserts. Effect is one.
- Can I ride mix with a Knob?
- Not on the Rack jack — there is no mix in. Effect.mix takes CV. Ride a slot on the strip, or put Effect last.
- Does it record?
- No. It processes. Deck or Recorder at the end of the chain captures it.
