One jack. CV or gate, you pick.
Mod is a CV knob or a gate toggle. Value out is 0–99 as CV, or a held gate. Patch it into tempo, mix, or Run. Knob and Switch are the dedicated twins.
What it is
A dual-mode module. Knob mode publishes value as CV (0–99). Toggle mode publishes value as a held gate. Wider spans show CV / GATE keys. There is no value in — it only sends. Stamp is ST-MD, or ST-MDX when wide. Knob is a dedicated CV pot with an in jack. Switch is a dedicated hold gate. Lfo is a moving CV.
How to use it
Drop Mod. Leave it on CV and patch value into BeatPad.tempo, Effect.mix, or Keys.vol. Flip to GATE and patch value into BeatPad.on, Metronome.run, or Lfo.run. It will not pulse — Button is the plunger.
What to patch next
Mod.value → BeatPad.tempo is a tempo pot. Same jack into Effect.mix in CV mode. GATE mode into BeatPad.on starts and stops the pad. Need a pulse? Button. Need a wave? Lfo.

Questions
- Why isn't there an in jack?
- Mod only sends. Knob and Switch both take an in so they can follow a cable.
- Can it fire Pal?
- Not in GATE mode — that holds. Pal.gate wants Button.
- Mod or Lfo?
- Mod is a hand-set number or a hold. Lfo moves by itself.
